We have both my mom and dad here at Avita, and both of my parents seem to be thriving, they have a wonderful quality of life that I really didn't think was possible with their illness, the staff is so loving and committed to the residents, it's like visiting my parents house.�
If you have a family member with dementia this probably isn't the place for them. When their behaviors get a little hard (which most people with dementia tend to have behaviors like yelling, swearing, etc) Avita will do anything they can to get that patient out. Because they are 'for profit' they can do this unfortunately. It's really too bad. Some of the staff were amazing!

Awesome place to work. We're like one big family and it doesn't even feel like going to work because I love going and seeing all my residents, families and co workers! Always something fun going on here
