Checked in last night and everything is great. View from the room is excellent.
I don't stay there, just visit my friends. I satyed there before and the walls were paper thin, it was noisy and the lady at the desk was such a bitch I swore off the place.
This was our first time staying at Avista (as we normally stay in MB), but this has definitely become our new favorite! The rooms are super spacious and super clean! Having a washer and dryer in the room was awesome. The beds were decently comfortable but the only drawback of the room was the lack of a bathroom vanity. I know they provide the little cabinet inside the bathroom, but having a pedestal sink, as it is not horrible, it kind of was. There was barely any room for toothbrushes. My daughter, grandson and I are staying here now. It is a fantastic place. We are on the 10th floor with a side ocean view with a huge rounded balcony and the view of the ocean is great, with clear views all up the coastline. The rooms are very spacious and everything is imaculate. We even have a washer/dryer in the unit. Awesome place and the price was right also! Definitely worth it!
We enjoyed our stay very much. The amenities are great and the rooms are clean and have all the basic needs. Check-in process was efficient as was the checkout process. I think the appliances need to be checked more frequently. Only 2 burners worked on the stove and the dishwasher could stand to be replaced. Also, it was a little inconvenient to have to cross the street to get to the parking garage. However, overall it was a great stay. We will stay again if we return to Myrtle Beach.
My wife and i and mother are on our 3rd trip total to avista. We love it and have talked about trying to buy a unit here. We have stayed in a 3 bed , 3 bath floor to ceiling glass oceanfront in every room with the exception of the hall bath! I think some people need there but kissed when there on vacation from so post i have read. The people are nice that work here, the restaurant has great food amd there are no complaints on our part!
