RecommendedDr. Harris is the end-all, be-all vet for avian and exotic creatures. He has been taking care of my 40 year old Red Lored Amazon for his entire life and now our two year old Sun Conure. I cannot imagine letting anyone else handle my birds. We are so fortunate to have him here in South Florida. I highly recommend him to anyone who has a feathered family member.
Excellent staff and service. They saved my dog's life earlier this year when his prognosis sounded grim. Their dedicated staff worked tirelessly to save him and I'm forever grateful.
Thank God for the power of prayer and the most amazing veterinarian in the world, Dr. Don Harris of the VCA South Dade Animal Hospital. He has saved our little Pookie twice from cancer. This time where it was located allowed him to get it all out so he feels certain it will never recur. He is never wrong. He truly has magic fingers and a magic touch. I can't thank him enough or praise him enough, She is home recovering now and we couldn't be happier.

I'm forever thankful for Dr. Don Harris for saving my cat Ziggy... He had a very nasty infection in his stomach from probably swallowing some foreign object, he almost died, he had to go to a surgery immediately and we wasn't sure he will survive... Dr. Harris did it , he saved him!!! He is the best vet in Florida, and a wonderful human being... He truly cares about animals, very knowledgeable and always put 100% in each of his patient..
