Appalling customer service from the apartment complex management. Specifically The Carlton Apartments in Houston on West Alabama. Here's a few highlights: CONSTANT follow up to them because they don't call you back, nothing short of maddening! Numerous maintenance requests on same item because it's not addressed. Live at Mediera Grove Apts. When I first moved in there were drug deals happening in broad daylight right in the parking lot and at night behind my building there were drugs, sex in cars and the loud stereos were nearly constant. I started videotaping all of this and I went to the Kenneth City Police and talked with the Detective. After a LOT of complaining the management FINALLY moved out the main dealer in E 108 and they also finally started cracking down on the loud noise. Things in those aspects are better. ...... I see that you renewed your lease this past October. We are grateful for your continued residency. The office hours are from 9:15 a.m. to 6:15 a.m. Monday through Friday and Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. thought the office is not open if we are showing apartment homes to other residents. I am a new move in and I am so disappointed with this office already. My lease started 10-10-2017. I called about 2 weeks earlier and said I wanted to take a look at the apt in case there is anything I would request them to fix. They said it was not cleaned yet so I could not. Then I called 10-09-2017, letting them know I want to see the apt before my move in date which is 10-10-2017. Avesta Shore Club. They hit you with a number of hidden fees. They stick you in a sub standard apartment and living conditions, maintenance is nearly non-existant, they charge a substantial amount of money to live here and your apartment is filled with roaches.
This company just took over Andover at winter park and are trying to make outside appearance of the buildings looks good by painting them, to attract new tenants, but by doing so, the workers created a lot of inconvenience for tenants. Yet, you better not complain to management because they don't do anything different. I saw them painting the building in 25-30 mph wind and tenants car park right there without any protection.
