Acute care NPs are worthless. It is "always" a virus, even when they can't prove it. LISTEN to patients parent!!! Not every one is an antibiotic seeker, some of us understand the science better than you.
The patient care from the doctors and nurses is great. But the billing department is absolutely the worst. They make it very clear that patient care is not their main priority.Even after I had paid my Bill's in full their billing department still would call to shake me down for more money?!??! I am absolutely disgusted at the Avera institution and feel sorry for anyone decent doctor or nurse that has to work for them.

Provide a caring staff...help patients in distress who need help breathing etc. get rid of cruel rude nurses and Drs.Do the job you are supposed to be there for...… TO HELP HEAL AND EASE THEIR PAIN....find caring people to help patients to heal and ease their pain..not stand at their bedside yelling at them,hitting them and lying to them...over and over again.They never did one thing to help in any way....WAS THE WORSE PLACE TO EVER BE IN.

i would love to say thank you to the staff for doing such an amazing job at the hospital in Sioux Falls. I had an 👼 at the hospital there in Sioux Falls. We knew baby passed away because no heartbeat was found so we knew when baby was born they would be dead. From the moment we found out baby passed away, the hospital staff that was on our case were very helpful, sympathetic and did a wonderful job at making me as comfortable as I could be.
