very upset at this place. i liked the nurse practitioner; she was very nice THAT DAY. i went for my first pap smear and was understandably nervous for that and other reasons. she sent me home to consider a form of birth control. i was supposed to call back and say if i wanted it or not. i NEVER heard back about that. just billing issues...unfortunately had a tough time just after that as money was short. i was able to pay evantually and went to the online billing mentioned in the bill. i paid up. well, here it is 29 DAYS aft... read more
I Love The Avenues Womens Center I love Dr. Robinson! She has delivered both my sons and even with a couple of minor complications during delivery stayed calm, kept me calm, and delivered my perfectly healthy boys. I have had amazing care on all of my visits including above-and-beyond follow-up care from one of the nurse practitioners. I love the Avenue's Women's Center and recommend it to everyone!
Comfy. I loved being pregnant and going here, the atmosphere was very nice and comfy the receptionists were polite you never felt like you were in a nasty cold bright doctors office and I love my OB!!! Dr Robinson whoooo working on the second baby and going back here.
Looking for a woman OBGYN? I was referred to this Center and decided to try it out and make the long commute. They were very good and worked together. If my doctor was delivering a baby then another would fill in so I didn't have to go back. I didn't have that special bond with any of the doctors like I wanted and they didn't do anything to "wow" me. So, I will probably not be making the commute to go back there for our next baby.
Don't believe your pain is real I have a lot of pain during intercourse. When I went to see these jokers at Avenue's Women's about it, they told me that my pain must be psychological and that I needed to see a sex/mental health therapist, because everything looked "normal" during the exam. Seriously!?!? I got a second opinion at a different clinic, and was told things looked very red and inflamed - anything but normal! I am now being treated at another clinic for my very physical - NOT psychological - condition. Never going ... read more
GREAT clinic - fantastic staff! After reading some of the reviews I was nervous to try this office but I have not had any of the described "negative" experiences. My wait times have always been less than 15 minutes (except once when I called in the morning and had to be seen same day I waited a half hour).
patient When I was pregnant with my first daughter, I didn't put a ton of thought into a dr and just quickly looked who my insurance covered. I chose to see Dr Cannon because she was easiest to get in to. In my second trimester I started bleeding so I went in to see her. INSENSITIVE!!!!! I was pregnant with my second baby I called Dr. Macy to make an appointment because I was experiencing some fevers, I was told to simply take some Tylenol, I explained to her nurse practitioner that I was very concerned because fevers during early pregnancy can be very dangerous she said it would be fine 3 days later I started spotting once again I called in to be seen and once AGAIN I could not get through to my DOCTOR.
