RecommendedDr. Margaret and all of the wonderful staff at Avenue Animal Wellness + Emergency did an amazing job treating my pup. They really were on top of her care the entire time and kept me updated and informed of her progress continually through her stay and even followed up after to see how she was doing. It was an incredibly stressful time that Dr. Margaret and her staff helped me through and I highly recommend them for the quality and kindness and care. The entire experience was top notch.
Dr. Margaret and her staff were so sweet and sincere when I brought my yorkie in after hours (he snagged some dark chocolate covered almonds and had a very upset stomach) I would highly recommend this practice to anyone needing emergency care for their beloved fur kids;)
Hands down the best care I ever seen. If I could rate them higher, I would. Our little fur baby was having problems. We were looking for a place that would be open 24 hours. Came across this place and quickly gave a call so we could be able to come In. We had brought her for an emergency at around 1-2am. They attended our as soon as we got there. I hope you don't need an emergency vet, but if you do I can't say enough good things about Avenue Animal Wellness and Emergency. Hands down the best in the area in my experience- kind, efficient, caring. Cost was reasonable as well - a totally different experience than I have had at the other ERs in the area. Barbarella is a young pup, and it was her first ER visit but with HarryDog in his Sr years we had some experience. Top shelf care.
I cannot say enough good about Avenue Animal Wellness. We brought our vizsla there for a bowel obstruction. The clinic was immaculately clean and smelled great. It is an old uptown building that feels like a home and not a sterile, corporate hospital. The staff were all super-friendly and seemed to love our dog. Dr. Margaret kept in close contact with us during his entire stay and was able to clear his obstruction with a barium series instead going straight to surgery which was a huge relief to us.
