Wow, I truly, truly love Dr Margaret and the whole staff at Avenue Animal Wellness. My gorgeous hairless cat had congestive heart failure and the attention and care they gave him was AMAZING. They made his last year on this earth so much better. AAW isn’t JUST an emergency hospital, Dr Margaret was my cat’s primary physician (she was so good that we switched him over to her), so the fact that they are open 24 hours and could see him whenever we had a scare (which was a few late night trips), and they knew him and his history... read more

Brought my cat in last night for an emergency with her eye. The staff was professional and pleasant, and to my surprise that was the least expensive emergency I’ve had in my all my years of being a pet owner. They communicated everything to me from the visit price, to the test, to the medication. My dog briefly saw Dr. Margaret for the last few months of his life. She and the rest of the staff were very kind. I trust this staff and can’t recommend this place enough.

Dr. Margaret goes out of her way to help my babies. She’s taking care of one of my critical babies now, and I am so relieved that she is in the best of care.

my fur baby Wu-Tang had a medical emergency... his face had swollen to the size of my fist... mind you he's a teacup chihuahua... in short, I got him there in time and Animal wellness was on top of everything from the front door, Wu-Tang had to stay the night, I was able to call and check on him throughout his stay... Animal wellness took great care of my Wu-Tang... I am grateful, I recommend Animal wellness to all fur baby parents...

Our precious Hims Tuff would not have made it without the care of this amazing team. I cannot thank you enough for all you did to save him and comfort me through my panicked tears. Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts. This boy is loved by many including many who don’t live in our household and we are all grateful.

My daughter took her dog to Avenue Animal Wellness and they misdiagnosed him. He is DEAD. These incompetent people ruled his condition caused by his eye. Well guess what, his eye wasn’t the problem. Both the opthamologist and second vet said they should’ve put him on an antibiotic because apparently he had some type of virus or infection. Had they diagnosed him correctly, he might still be here. I think he probably should’ve been on an IV or received some type of oxygen but what do I know? I’m not a vet. My daughter also tol... read more

Love this place!! Dr. Margaret, and Sarah are the BEST!! My puppy swallowed an object and had to have emergency surgery Saturday. I’m a first time dog owner, so I was so nervous and clueless to a lot of things. they made me feel so comfortable leaving Chase there. He was well taken care of and the staff were amazing! I highly recommended this place!! ❤️❤️
