I still don't have cool air flowing in the apartment I rent it's been over 100 degrees outside and 82 degrees inside this apartment. How long is it going to take before I either pass out from a heat stroke or die. It's hard to function in conditions like this and I'm told the same lies. How long Spring Lake, how long?!!?
I have been complaining about rats since the beginning of February and the company has done nothing to solve this issue while I was still paying my rent on time. I’ve asked to have my rent reimbursed for this month so that I can vacate this rat filled apartment to find a new place, days later this is their response. This is seriously a slum at this point. Pool was green for over two years. It's been closed since Covid began 2yrs ago. The office is normally locked even during office hours. There's always a sign that says they're out on the property but they don't return. They rarely answer the phn & don't return msgs. The emergency maintenance # is frequently out of service. The staff is maybe one of the laziest offices I have ever seen. I had to request my lease 5 different times over email, three times over the phone, and even physically went into the office to request it and they didn't until I called the corporate office to get involved. Then, I was initially charged a month-to-month fee because they alleged I hadn't sent them my insurance. If I could give zero or - stars I would! In our 3yrs Murders in next building Rat & Roaches infestation & took 5 months for us to be moved when we showed video pics of Rats o. Camera, ruined 2 sectional couches, I'm allergic. So I had to begin getting shots weekly & always affected! The employees from the leasing office to the maintenance department, are rude, racist, and substance abusers. If you’re are an American citizen, I wouldn’t advice anybody to rent at this property with illegal immigrants, maybe ICE should get involved.
We moved out of Westside Heights in May, and they overcharged us by $1200 for our last month's prorated rent. When we asked for a refund, they said it would take 30 days to receive a check (during the pandemic when we needed cash). The check was supposed to include an additional $250 security deposit refund as well. Fast forward nearly 4 months, still no check. Beware Shirley-the NEW KAREN! I got into an apartment with the wrong roommate! And he ended up moving out half way through our lease.
