My apartment got flooded due to substandard equipment in the apartment above mine and because the woman upstairs is white and I’m black, they have no regard for the fact that my family is inconvenience with a wet smelly carpet, water coming from the light and smoke detectors. They change tenants rent amount after you already have a signed contract. They add fees. When a contract should be binding. Amenity fees should also show in the lease not added months later after the fact. Especially being on the 2year living on the complex and 4 months into new lease. If this is happening to someone else please forward. Come forward tenants. Class act law do your research. Do not move hear it is not worth it.
Management could manage the place. Manager is a smug fill in the blank. To start the list Our mailboxes have been broken since before I moved in a year ago. Half the boxes dont even close idk how people have been dealing with that stupidness. Luckily mine does close. The trash doesnt get taken when it supposed to and when it does theres leftover trash cause racoons tear everything up in the back when i am. They dont clean it and now it smells by my door. I haven't completed my first year at advenir at frankford living and this has been, without exaggeration, the worse experience I have ever had in any apartment ever. from rude recepcionists. to inefficient management teams that get changed for another different equally inefficient management team. to maintenance that has absolutely no communication with the resident. RecommendedI’ve lived here for 6 months and so far everything is perfect. When requesting maintenance they’re there in an hour at the most usually and are happy to fix anything. The office is amazing and hep with all they can. Definitely recommend living here.
I’ve been staying here going on 2 years no problems whatsoever office team is always delightful and very courteous and they take care of their residents

can’t contact anyone in hurricane aftermath. no one answers phones, returns messages, or responds to emails. don’t know what’s happening.
Lease ends in 2 days. Emailed the office back in April about a mold problem. Maintenance man (Jeff) told us to just spray bleach on it. Problem was never fixed and we ended up paying $2,500 a month to live in an apartment with water coming from under the floor boards.
