WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! I’ve been dealing with roaches since I’ve moved in and called pest control dozens of times. They come in for 5 seconds, and whatever they are doing does not work at all. They put roach bait in my baby’s nursery where he could get to it, and I found some in his mouth. Thank God he is okay. I found mold behind the stove and maintenance came and just painted over it. The fridge has been leaking for months, and I’ve put several maintenance requests in, and no one has fixed it. Worst place I’ve ever lived. The fire alarms are constantly malfunctioning. They are loud enough to make your ears bleed and go off at all hours of the day and night.
Please do not rent at Aventine Fort . I’ve been in a battle with collections for almost a year now. I apologize for the length of this review, but I think it’s worth everyone understanding how crooked and bad the management is at Aventine at Fort Totten is. I moved in a year and a half ago and it was a hellacious experience from the first week. The first night we moved in the apartment was infested with roaches.
