I was searching for an apartment in DC due to relocating from out of state for my career (my first out of state relocation). We visited a lot of apartments both virtually and in-person but once we visited Avec on H, it quickly became obvious this place was above the rest and we wanted it to be our home. We toured many great communities in the area due to relocating from Ohio. After we saw Avec on H, we knew we wanted to call it home and we hoped everything would work. In my experience with leasing, a few factors apply to me that can pose challenging and/or can even stop the process altogether such as needing to be added to the lease after the fact since my gf moved (2) months ahead of me for work, I have non-traditional income streams as well as a few additional unique items. Highly unprofessional. Went on a tour, submit the application and paid the fees and submitted the documents required and they ghosted us.
Former resident for 3 years. My wife and I loved living in Avec. The amenities were fantastic (gym with rack/bench, pool, rooftop dog park, garden plots) and well maintained. Big shout out to the front desk staff and maintenance team for their help throughout the years. I would highly recommend anyone interested in living on H give it a look!
Leaving a review specifically for my maintenance guy Kevin. Kevin had a very polite and welcoming presence while he assisted me with my maintenance issues, despite my many questions sometimes repetitive about a few issues. I was very pleased with Kevins work and hospitality. Kevin handled each of my concerns with urgency and efficiency. I wouldn’t mind his assistance any time moving forward. Kevin is great for Avec on H .
