I've lived here for two years now, and I had such a great experience. When looking for an apartment, good management is always one of my biggest priorities because a reliable team can save you so much time and stress when dealing with maintenance requests, billing questions, or anything else that comes up. I am moving from NY to Walnut Creek and just leased an apartment at 1960. I planned on seeing several buildings, but after speaking with Sophia, I only saw one. She made the decision easy and bent over backwards to accommodate my many requests. I feel so lucky to have found such a great building with amazing staff and can’t wait to move into my new apartment in a couple of weeks!

would like to start by saying these apartments are absolutely gorgeous and the location is unbeatable — especially being right in front of Target. Unfortunately, the biggest downfall is the staff and management company. Bozzuto paying or incentivizing residents for positive reviews has become something widely talked about, and it definitely makes you question the authenticity of some of the ratings. I have been living here for a couple of years now, and my experience has been great. The location is super convenient for getting just about anywhere, whether to downtown, the highway, or BART. The property and amenities are well-maintained and the staff is very responsive and communicative about routine work and any issues that do pop up. I want to especially shout-out Sophia and Emily for going above and beyond to create a sense of community at the 1960.
