This place is horrible. DO NOT MOVE HERE. We moved in a little over a month ago and nothing was cleaned, the stove keeps breaking, and half the outlets don't work. They haven't done anything to address or fix these issues despite multiple emails and work order requests. On top of that, we are in an ADA accessible unit but the ramp leading to our door is blocked by a huge hydrangea bush that never gets trimmed back. Management is gross and unreliable. Be honest, it is a nice place to live. But for real, when we tried to stay but go downsize. We got no helps at all. We tried and tried then we gave up then we moving out to a different place. Guessing, they’d rather having new people move in or just leave units empty than keep people staying. And they refused to ask their manager if there were anything which could help. Just don’t get it.
My roommates and I just recently moved out of Avana towards the end of October. We got our statement for what they are trying to charge us for and felt as if it was very unfair considering we left the apartment in good condition except for normal wear and tear. We have attempted contact to them through email and they have not responded after 48 hours and I have tried calling them with no response. All we are looking for is negotiable response but we can’t even get that.
I have lived here for over a year now and there is no consistency in communication; I have been told one thing one day and something different the next by the same office person. It took 3 months to fix a simple electrical issue. I choose who I talk to in the office now because there is only one person I trust and I can’t wait for me lease to be up!
Into our 2nd year and loving it. Staff has always been helpful
Cars have been hit AND broken into multiple times. Garbage is almost always overfull and disgusting. Constantly have to listen to someone else's music or tv because it's too loud. Maintainence was promised to repaint stuff at the beginning of our lease, never heard back. Communication between the staff and residents is lacking.
