Avoid at all costs This place made my wife and I homeless - do not rent from here. We signed a lease to move in and 1 week before move in they told us we could not move in and offered no other accommodations. We had no where to move to despite needing to move out at the date we agreed to. 0/10 experience, move anywhere but here

Break ins and locked mail Over the last 6 months their has been repeated mail theft and car break in within the gated areas of the community. To combat this the property management has decided that the mail room and package room will only be accessible between 9am and 5 pm..... So anyone with a job cant get their packages. Furthermore they lock the office and cover the windows so that nobody can bring up issues with them. Not to mention their poor communication with maintenance. Submit a form on an app... Pros and Cons like every apartment building I've been living at the Avalon for two years now and it definitely has its ups and downs. Firstly, the concierges here are AMAZING, especially Antoine and Anyssa! Like when Anyssa sees me leave to walk my dog, she'll have my packages waiting for me when I return, and Antoine once even brought me back a souvenir when he visited the country my family is from... they really make living here more enjoyable. Verified Renter Just moved in to White Oaks at Wilton and absolutely love our apartment. We have 2 dachshunds and enjoy the peaceful walks around the area. The leasing agent, Danielle was a wonderful help our leasing process and settling us in.
Disappointing We were 11 month tenants before moving into our new home. The complex felt overall unsafe. The police were there multiple times in the 11 months and it was pretty noisy in our building. When we moved out we were later charged to “replace carpet” when no damage had been done. It was frustrating communing with the management at Huntington station and then on the corporate level. Verified Renter It’s a nice place to live, and getting to see the beautiful fall sunsets. I’m on the third floor. The grounds are well kept with green grass and nice plantings. We like it here.

COCKROACHES COCKROACHES BEWARE!! 1 month of cockroaches still!! One month living in roach infested unit. Property management doing nothing quick enough. Expect me to wait through the constant pest control companies coming out. 3rd treatment happened today. Expecting a 4th next week. Now living completely boxed up. Don't worry though, they offered me a $100 credit once this is all cleared up. The audacity.
"24 hour surveillance" Security cameras don't help when cars are vandalized, mailroom broken into, front gate crashed, people hopping the fence and vagrants entering the property, not to mention the "cat infestation"
