We have been taking are beloved fur babies to Avalon for as long as I can remember. Now that I am grown and have my own fur babies, there is no place I would rather take them. They were so patient with us when we had to make the painful decision to put one of our babies down on Thursday evening. Dr. Clauss is our absolute favorite.
My family has used this vet practice for many years and up until yesterday, I would've highly recommended this place. Not no more... The way I was talked too yesterday I will never use this office again. Not to mention I didn't want my dog getting a certain shot and was talked too like I was a idiot. My 7lb dog has not been right since he got his shots he's been shaking, scared and looks like he's in pain and when I called back they could've cared less about him. I called and made an appointment for a rabies shot. The receptionist quoted me a price of $20 for the rabies. Petco has rabies shots for the same price but I made the appointment with Avalon to preserve continuity with thIs office. At the end our appointment, I was handed a bill that included a $52 doctors visit. I was shocked and asked the man at the front door why it went up 360% and he said that all rabies appoints must have a doctors exam first. I got a new baby Chinese Shar-Pei this place gave me the best information and they were so nice!! So glad i choose them for her first shots!!
Took my dog to avh with low blood sugar levels and she was treated with respect and care I would recommend anyone to use this hospital for there pets thanks for the great care
I have 5 little dogs under 8 pounds who are my life. I would like to let the Docs and the vet techs who work at Avalon to know how very much I appreciate the genuine care that they show to my babies each time we are there. I bring them for sniffles, tests, nail trimming for my diva and weight checks for my very skinny recent adoption and they treat me with patience and my dogs with their best care and true affection. I love this place for my fur babies they are so nice and very thuro , its convenient for me to get to ! Also before they do anything they give an estimate and theres no hidden fees ! They dont try and push anything on u like some other places, they give u the option so yeah im very happy coming here and look forward to coming back and them caring for my sweet fur babies !
