This place is awful ever since seven fields took over and fired all of the old vets that every one new and loved. They no longer put the animals first, something Dr. Moore felt passionately about. They charge triple what he use to, if not more. It's a shame what has happened to this local veterinary hospital. It use to be one of the few that really cared about animals over money.
The doctors take great care of my pets. I used to see Drs. Nagle and Fitzgerald. Now I see Dr. Clauss. Very knowledgeable and caring staff.
If I could zero stars I would. We used to take our furry critters here all of the time. I guess when the office was sold the new owners did not purchase the hometown feel or care. So sad!!!!
Dr. Koch and Amanda where very kind to me and Sweetie Pie when she went to the rainbow bridge yesterday. They took a lot of time with us and even gave me a beautiful blanket to bury my beautiful Sweetie with. I am very happy with the Vets at Avalon. Dr. Ann went out of her way for me when I had to go to PVSEC with my Sheltie. She met me there to help me through the procedure. I was so scared and she helped out more than she will ever know. Thank you Dr. Ann! I also had Dr. Claus. How wonderful that she calls me to give me updates on my dogs blood work or to see how my dogs are doing. Another wonderful vet. Dr. Lill also called me to talk to me after I went to PVSEC with my dog. I can't be any happier than I am. THANKS TO ALL!
Took my cat here a few months ago and they told me it might be a good option to put my cat down since she was fairly weak. Well after a month she was back to her old self and is very active.
I took my baby Burt here and they were the kindest and most gentle people. Dr Cox was phenomenal. she took excellent care of him as did the rest of the staff. When the time came for his transition she explained everything to us and made it possible for us to be with him when he went to sleep. We thank everyone there for taking such good care of our handsome little man
