Dr. Ann saw AJ at the end of his life... I was struggling so hard to let him go as he was in so much pain from cancer we had been battling for 2 years. You think you are prepared but you are not. She and the staff treated him and I compassionately and kindly... I was a total mess but the vet care was EXCEPTIONAL. I saw some negative comments on Avalon's Facebook about cost and was floored. Our friend, Enzo, recently had surgery at Avalon Veterinary Hospital and we were so pleased with everyone that took care of him. The doctor and technicians were very thorough and truly concerned about him. The surgeon did such a great job, Enzo looks so much better already. Thank You Again!
They did very well taking care of our pets. We lost our oldest dog today....the entire staff gave us all the time we wanted for our last moments with our best friend. Thank you so much for your patience and compassion

I think my first experience at Avalon Veterinary hospital was in 1973 or 1974. Dr. Moore was a VERY young man who took really good care of an injured cat, and even better care of this teenage girl who was extremely upset about the cat's injury. Since then, Dr. Moore and his team of doctors have taken care of 5 dogs, 1 parrot, 1 macaw, a rabbit, hamster, guinea pig, and an iguana. Drs. Bigger, and Fitzgerald have been wonderful too.
