Best In the Area! Sal's been coloring and cutting my hair since Avalanche opened their doors. I have ALWAYS been thrilled with the results. The entire staff is friendly and welcoming. I recently had some spa services done (massage & a pedicure) - what an incredible experience! A warm atmosphere and top-notch service every time - I will definitely remain a long-time, loyal client of Avalanche!!!
Great salon, great hairdresser I moved to this area from the Main Line. I have searched for a good salon for months, and have gone to high end and low end in my search for skills and atmosphere. I went to Kathy today at Avalanche and she did a phenomenal job. She listened to me, looked at the pic I brought, and then gave me exactly what I wanted. The atmosphere there is very nice--inviting and well decorated. They have some really great hair products too. I can't wait to go back!!
Unexperienced Stylists!!!!! I live in the Collegeville area and I decided to give Avalanche Salon a try. What a Mistake! I have been getting highlights done to my hair for years and honestly the highlights I received at Avalanche were absolutely the worst I have ever received! The color of my hair is HORRIBLE. Nervous bride completely satisfied I have never written a review on one of these message boards before, but I felt compelled to after my experience yesterday. Stephanie, who I believe is one of the owners at Avalanche, was amazing! She talked to me to get a sense of what I wanted and was so patient with me when I asked for a change after she had already dried my hair... The BEST Spa Arround!!!!!! This salon and spa has it all. Amazing stylists, nail tecs and aestheticians!! Sal does a cut and color that will knock you socks off!! He also does hair extensions that look so real!! Stephine is also a master at what she does!! Julie gave me THE best mani and pedi I have ever had! We are talking world Class! She also does an mean eyebrow wax! The spa its self is also very cool its like a ski chalet very comfortable! I would recommend this spa to anyone!! Love it love it love it!!!!!!!!!
Robin Basile I can't say enough about Avalanche Spa. I have been going there for about a year and a half. My stylist "Jessica" transferred there from another salon, and of course I go where she goes! Love this Spa... I have had Sal cutting and highlighting my hair for over two years now and have also had several massages at this spa. The staff is always friendly and fun. Yes, sometimes Sal is running a bit behind (although I have never had to wait more than about 15 minutes from my appt. time), but that is because he always takes the time to do a really good job. Due to the quality of his work.
I love my stylist, the salon--not so much I only go to Avalanche because I have been with the same stylist for close to 8 years. She moved to Avalanche, and of course, I followed. I love my stylist--the rest of the salon experience, no so much. No one is friendly and I never feel welcome. I only make appointments with my stylist because I see the other stylists (the owners, as well) get behind, rush through, and act unprofessionally.
