the coffe is fabualous AVA Roasteria is a relatively new coffee shop in down town Beaverton. Parking is problematic but the beverages are well worth it. And the people who work there know their coffee. If you want something that is not listed on the board, just ask. For sure, they'll know how to make it.
Darkfea They make the best mochas a great atmosphere with a gas fireplace, waterfalls, and heaters outdoors.
Ava Roasteria is always hopping I have yet to either pass by or walk into Ava Roasteria when it isn't packed full of people. The coffee is good. I have to say that my ceasar salad was uninspired. The ambiance is really nice and the service is quite good. I would recommend a visit to see what you think.
Unique and Wonderful I've recently discovered Ava's for myself when I was in need of a coffee house open past 11pm. I've been going for a few weeks now and I'm fairly impressed. Pros: 1. Great atmosphere, from the exterior landscaping and architecture to the seating and decor inside. 2. Good selection of drinks. You won't find as many things on the menu as some places, but they have all the basics and enough specialty mochas to rotate your drinks if you like. Ava Roasteria is cozy This place is just comfortable. It's the kind of place I could hang out for a long time, in their cozy chairs and free wi-fi. They also have outdoor seating and a firepit to encourage the outside in chillier weather. You look around and you see lots of people just hanging out enjoying the company of food, friends and conversation, making it an ideal place to hook-up with a friend over a coffee, in the middle of the day. Best Hot chocolate in town I go to Ava a lot - they make hot chocolate using real belgian chocolate and three flavors (dark, milk, or white). I will go out of my way to get a hot chocolate from there instead of starbucks. Parking is very limited but the chocolate is worth the inconvenience.
I had a bad experience at Ava's today. I ordered a 16 oz. Americana with half decaf. I paid and left my usual $1.00 tip and left briefly to place my book bag on a table. It only took a second to do this but when I turned around I saw the person I had given my order to pour a 16oz cup out of the urn that is used for regular coffee. How do I describe the perfect coffee experience? For me, it is when the coffee shop captures the right blend of coffee and provides the perfect environment for their customers.
If you are looking for a pretty nice place inside or out to meet, read, or study, this could be a good place. Open 24 hours still I think. Coffee can be above average but not great. Food options are good. Baristas still serve as cashier half the time, so lattes can be rushed which is not good. Appreciate they have tried to provide a nice place for people to meet and hang. If you are in a hurry for a cup to go, not your place.
