Was given a Discovery Flight certificate from my daughters. Awesome!! Learned about all that is required to fly starting with checking weather, other planes in the area, flight controls, procedures, etc. My flight instructor, Matt, was very friendly and helpful showing me everything. Went through a preflight inspection of the plane to make sure it was flight ready. Incredibly unreliable. Commitments were made which were not honored. They just do not seem to care about their prospective clients at all.
Been flying with them for months and we only cancel if it's ill advised to fly. One of the things I've learned about flying and becoming a good pilot is you have to be PATIENT! East Idaho weather plays havoc on the FR conditions. AVcenter has their own mechanics and maintenance or repairs only take a day or two. I'm confident I'll be much safer, and a better pilot, than someone who just wants to 'get her done.'
