The owners are slum Lords and the property manager is underhanded and untrustworthy. There is a smell in my unit and when called upon to fix the problem, promises were made and then after nothing was done, they want to try to evict you to get rid of you. The plumbing in all the buildings is bad and there are potholes the size of small planets and everywhere! I’ve had to replace 3 tires because of them. Just shameful...Do NOT rent here!! Major headaches.
I recommend you to stay away unless you’ve been homeless before and don’t mind living in slums. Your water WILL BE cut off for days so expect to take a bath with a few water bottles before work. Hallways will flood with sewage so walking to the elevator wear a mask so the feces smell isn’t too bad (clean your shoes too) When the hallways flood you’ll practically swim to your unit. Extremely unsafe, I was without air for months in the summer, plenty of service request that have been unmet. Multiple shootings. Do not live here or bring your family here. Picture of the most recent shooting inside of the building when someone Got shot. Management extremely unprofessional. Me and my son was present during the shooting on my floor and my baby has not been ok since. It’s not worth it. If you have to pay A little extra please stay away!
I have "central air" and I didnt have AC in the summer (they were trying to avoid it) so I had to keep my patio door open & they also told me when the building was built it wasn't designed for AC & now its snowing & I have no heat! I didn't know this building was built in the 1700's but go off!
What's really sad about this place outside of leaks horrible plumbing the water being off for days at a time quite frequently. The carpets horrible from leaks and mold grow under carpets that are affected by the leaks.As well as broken doors no cameras. This is the second time in the past week that someone has been shot here. Anyone can just walk in these buildings. The side door on the building have been broke for weeks. Lived here a couple years ago and got robbed at gunpoint in the parking lot. Nothing was done by the leasing office who claimed that they would put more lights in the lot. There were no cameras to even help the police with their investigation. Then the leasing office had the nerve to get mad when I told them that I wanted to break my lease and tried to charge me to do so. Even told me it could happen anywhere! As I see adds on Facebook for these apartments I’m compelled to write a review and inform possible renters!
Don’t believe anything see your unit first because they show you the model and it’s nothing like what you’ll be living in the counters are painted and the cabinets are the ones from 1970 and painted. The sinks are clogged with stuff coming up in them and they just do bandaid jobs... I tried to talk to the property manager Anthony and he got loud with me because I told him all the things that was wrong when I moved in it was mold on my refrigerator, blinds, and bathroom ceiling.. also my stove and dish washer was disgusting i... read more
