Just had the most amazing nail salon experience I’ve had in a really long time. I went at an off-Peak time so it wasn’t busy. The staff were very kind and attentive. Jessica paid such great detail to my service. I got a gel pedicure and a cuticle clean up for my hands. I could tell Jessica values doing a good job. This is my favorite nail salon in Philly. They take walk-ins every day, and they really go out of their way to accommodate people coming in. Whenever I get a mani/pedí, they ask if I want to receive both services separately or at the same time, which I LOVE. Doing them both at the same time saves so much time. I never get anything beyond regular pedis and single-colored gel manis, so I cant speak to their ability to do designs, but I have always left very happy with the service. I came here for years and unfortunately I won’t be returning :( The last 3 times I got my nails done here, I left with the skin around my nails bleeding, burning and in so much pain. I had scabs on the skin around every fingernail the next day. The file is way too rough and aggressive and I was in so much pain, and I work in hand modeling so I can’t have scabs and cuts all around my nails. Worst experience I’ve ever had, I hated my nails. I asked for a full acrylic set. The girl did a hardener gel set that I did not ask for. They are so uneven (some are longer than others, they are not straight at all at the tip) and chunky. They honestly feel like they’re gonna fall off, and my nails feel so sore underneath.
