I love that the Autumn Cafe was a great place when I was a Hartwick Collegen student in the 80's, and it's still there when I go back, virtually unchanged! Every business has it's moments. 30 plus years speaks for itself. Its so charming!!
2nd time there and service was slow then got my meal wrong sandwich.. even worse the sandwich had turkey with the paper still on it. Ate part of the first half and noticed tissue paper stuff hanging out, checked and the whole sandwich had it. They didn't charge me for oh thanks of course you shouldn't but nobody came to apologize or explain . Not very professional at all, we all make mistakes but own up to it and make your customers feel like they matter and are appreciated.
For carry out I am soooo dissapointed. I eat hear often. And alwayssss get the same thing. First of all if your going to charge almost $2 for an extra dressing can you make sure theres more than HALF in the container!? And put some salad in there. SO STINGY! Very Dissapointed in my carry out experience.
Looove the Autumn!!! Good food, great atmosphere and the deck is so nice. Perfect for families and/or people with dietary restrictions. My favorite dish is surprisingly the tempeh burger- so fresh and delicious, the only place that can do tempeh right! When I don't have that, I love their salmon specials- best fish dishes in town. Brunch is always great but a little crowded so make sure you get in early! Always featuring local fresh food. Also- great selection of local beers, so for the drinkers it's totally a plus!!

Best restaurant in oneonta. The food is fresh, local and there are tons of vegetarian options! Definitely my favorite spot in oneonta and the specials are always amazing. I've never had a bad meal or experience and I've gone quite a few times!

Thank you so much for accommodating our large group at the last minute for my daughter graduation. After our reservation was "lost" at Sloan's, this place really stepped us to make our night memorable. The food was great and the prices very reasonable. The staff was great. I highly recommend this place.
