I purchased a car battery here and they talked me I to the Duralast Gold because it had a 3 year warranty. Well the battery died and when I went to exchange it, they said the salesperson didn't properly attach the warranty to my account and they couldn't honor the warranty. So they sold me a more expensive battery that was supposed to last longer, buy it failed and they won't do anything about it. Luckily there is a Checker across the street that I will be shopping at for now on.
I call, and immediately the person asks if I can please hold and before I can reply, I'm put on hold. And left there. For 5 minutes, then 10 minutes, now 15 minutes, going on 30 minutes now. Is it the policy of Autozone to immediately place callers on hold and then just forget about them? I'm thinking that it is! I'm hanging up now and I will just drive to O'Reilly Auto parts. I know I will get better customer service there.
Just left there, Black Manger doesn't wait on people in order, I stood in their line as they took care of everyone else and when I finally said something he waved his hand at me as to say shut up be there in a minute and took another customer before me. I asked how it worked and he told me I should know, I said, "how would I know I don't come in here everyday?" He replied, "You should know."
