I asked them to check why I was unable to permanently turn off the idle stop as the owners manual says can be done. I followed the directions in the owners manual and on YouTube. The Mechanic supposedly turned it off. At the first stop light after I left the dealership, the idle stop turned off the engine. So it seems they didn’t verify why it wasn’t working and just assumed I did it incorrectly. Either the instructions are wrong or the switch in my car is not working.
