Got a recall notice. Bring my car in and when I go to pick it up the very nice mechanic says my front brake pads are vitally low and need replacing immediately for safety reasons. The rotors are also worn down and need replacing as well. Quotes me something like $350 (can't remember exact amount) just for the front only. Well, I can buy pads and rotors for all 4 wheels for half that on Amazon and do it myself.
