I am extremely disappointed with the customer service from this dealership. I signed the papers on a lease deal and took delivery of an Acura TLX late Sunday night after the dealership had closed (around 6:30 p.m.), following an unnecessarily long negotiating period, and wait for the paperwork and the car to be prepared. The first experience I would rate a 1 and yesterday a 5. After hurricane Irma my battery died. I needed a code for my radio and nav system. Called this dealership some guy in the service dept. said I had to bring it in pay over 400.00 to remove radio to get code. He was rude. My son in-law went on U-Tube found out just press 2 buttons and the code comes up. He called a too free number for Acura got a California dealership, very nice gave him another code and all was fine. My wife has been driving an Acura RDX from this dealership for a few lease cycles and I was impressed with the attention to detail they have. They really made it a great experience when she had to either bring her vehicle in for oil changes or to trade in lease. I decided to give them a try and to my surprise, it went very well for me too. I brought my RDX to the service department and waited for them to inspect the problem. They found the problem and told me that it would be completed by Monday (I went Friday afternoon). They gave me a loaner vehicle and the service was completed by Saturday afternoon. Carolyn is an amazing service representative and is very quick getting your issues solved.
I don’t buy a car that often so when I do, I want it to be a good experience. AutoNation Acura North Orlando provided a great experience. Our sales person, Jim, was great. He never pushed, always provided quick answers and complete information and he knew his product well. The entire team there was very welcoming and made the buying experience pleasant instead of feeling like your being taken advantage of.
Wasn't happy with the inconsistency between my call to schedule the appointment vs what they could actually do the day of the appt. They also gave an inaccurate time frame. My appt was at 10:15am and I finally got a call back the car had been inspected from the outside, not even driven to resolve the two main issues, after 1pm. The man helping with the service side was kind but it wasn't his fault the person I scheduled with misinformed me.
