Expensive Oil Change – Had the oil chanced and they over tightened the drain plug and cracked my oil pan. $525 to repair. I asked them what they torqued the plug to and they said they didn't have torque wrenches. A torque wrench should be used when tightening the drain plug on any auto and especially on ones with aluminum pans. After learning this I will not be back.
Do not go to Automotive Excellence – I went to Automotive Excellence on October 16, 2008 for a carwash and oil change. During the wash my side view mirror was broken. I was told that they would order a replacement. After a month and weekly phone calls the mirror is still broken and not replaced. The owner, Todd is never available to answer my calls and the person who does answer the calls states she has given him the message. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
