My family awoke to waterfall sounds(sprinkler head broken) at 4:00 am on 8/22/11. I contacted Automatic Sprinkler Controls, Inc via the internet and rec'd a call back in 10 minutes! They left a message for me with an appointment date which I appreciated. They also called me one day before the appt to confirm. Nice touch. Ron did a great job for us. He was courteous and very professional. His bid was accurate for the work done.
Ron is awesome but this company is quite overpriced. Job was done quickly and professionally, but I found itn quite convenient for them that they only carried 1 valve in the truck knowing I said it was the valve, and of course it was brass which was a 50% markup. I found the exact valve in OSH for half the price. Could only use a less expensive valve if they came back 2 days later to complete the job.It would have been nice to be given the option but I had it done only because I couldn't waste another day. Within seconds of creating a profile of my needs this gentleman had me on the phone walking me through re-booting my Superior irrigation controller, which two gardners had told me had to be replaced. Martin identified the problem immediatley and had me make the fix on the phone with him saving me from hand watering and waiting till Monday for a repair.
It was a great experience working with Martin Schaefer and the crew of Automatic Sprinkler Controls. I thought I knew exactly what I wanted done, until Martin came up with numerous options and improvements to my sprinkler system and yard drainage. The work was completed neater and faster than I could imagine. I highly recommend., and would hire them again.
He took his time to analyse the problems and worked on them methodically. Everything seems to be working well now. Cost was reasonable. I will use them for any future problems on my spinkler system.
The serviceman was knowledgible, efficient, friendly (and patient). Would use them again and recommend to anyone. He also recommended that I check your website for any work I needed at my home, which I will do in the future.
