Formerly known as the California Speedway, the Auto Club Speedway hosts some of the biggest car and bike races in the world, including the Superbike 100K, Historic Sports Car Festival, California 100 and Toyota Indy 400. Set up in the year 1997, it also plays venue to the NASCAR races held in this part of the state. The 2-mile (3.2-kilometer) D-shaped track sits below the 36,030-seat upper grandstand and the 42,490-seat lower grandstand. The action moves fast here, so don't wait to cruise in.

The track has character. Love those seams. I go to PIR, LVMS, Sonoma and Atlanta but I like auto Club Speedway the best. In addition to outstanding racing they also have the best entertainment and food. I've seen everyone from Styx and Foreigner to most recently Billy Ray Cyrus. As for food, King Taco hands down. Where else can you go and get that kind of headlining entertainment great food an awesome racing for such a reasonable price? Anywhere I can find pictures from the past weekend
Had a great time in the infield as usual! Great racing and great friends, bbq & beer! Just a couple suggestions....re-stock the infield port-a-johns more frequently. More than once I walked over to find no tp in ANY of the units. AND, the Friday parking attendants stuck our parking pass in the window of our trailer when we pulled in, but the attendants Sunday night wouldn't let us pull the truck back in w/o the sticker (which was stuck in the trailer window by your staff).
