Formerly known as the California Speedway, the Auto Club Speedway hosts some of the biggest car and bike races in the world, including the Superbike 100K, Historic Sports Car Festival, California 100 and Toyota Indy 400. Set up in the year 1997, it also plays venue to the NASCAR races held in this part of the state. The 2-mile (3.2-kilometer) D-shaped track sits below the 36,030-seat upper grandstand and the 42,490-seat lower grandstand. The action moves fast here, so don't wait to cruise in.

Been there at least once a season every year since '97. The place needs a resurface and some "progressive" rules as far as the entrants go (hey, this is California.. We don't follow trends, WE SET THEM!) and be the first ISC track to REQUIRE that ALL drivers spend time in the fan zone at some time during the race weekends... Indycar does it, Grand-Am sportscar did it, CART did it, AMA motorcycle racers did it, so now NASCAR is the exception rather than the rule. Time for track management to step up and SET THE TREND! Its a cool fast track lots and lots to do there and the food and beer is execlwnt and u get up close and personal with ur fave driver .. Jeff Gordon can do it one last time here in so Cali come.on #24 bring home the win I'll b there to root u on
Great Race Track. Sit in the pit box area then you can get an up close of the drivers after the race.

Every year this happens and I am tired of it. They send you your tickets at the last moment and expect you to scramble to get it out to the people going with you. Was told they went out Wednesday and today is Saturday and still no tickets I only live about 25 miles away
It's awesome & great feeling to enjoy a great race.
