Formerly known as the California Speedway, the Auto Club Speedway hosts some of the biggest car and bike races in the world, including the Superbike 100K, Historic Sports Car Festival, California 100 and Toyota Indy 400. Set up in the year 1997, it also plays venue to the NASCAR races held in this part of the state. The 2-mile (3.2-kilometer) D-shaped track sits below the 36,030-seat upper grandstand and the 42,490-seat lower grandstand. The action moves fast here, so don't wait to cruise in.

Auto Club Speedway is a great place to be at this weekend for Nascar. Just ask my son Timothy Rink, He likes the track and it's close to home!!!!

Let's see...first time infield camping. Interesting. I like the carts, makes it easier for those of us with physical limitations. People are friendly but prices are too high--the economy may be great in Obama-land, but people are hurting here in SoCal. Racing needs to be spiced up...increase the banking, narrow the track do SOMETHING! Had a great day here that was RUINED because I have now spent 45 min trying to figure out how to head north to go home since every damn street and fwy is closed around here due to the event today! Does it not occur to you that some of your patrons may not want to travel all the way to Riverside before heading up to the High Desert?
We like the raceway very much. We really miss the race that was taken away and was given to a track where it rains on race day. Too funny!! Bring that race back!!!
