Formerly known as the California Speedway, the Auto Club Speedway hosts some of the biggest car and bike races in the world, including the Superbike 100K, Historic Sports Car Festival, California 100 and Toyota Indy 400. Set up in the year 1997, it also plays venue to the NASCAR races held in this part of the state. The 2-mile (3.2-kilometer) D-shaped track sits below the 36,030-seat upper grandstand and the 42,490-seat lower grandstand. The action moves fast here, so don't wait to cruise in.

So much to see and so much to do. NASCAR weekend is crazy and the Auto Club Speedway delivers.
Had a great day! Went to one of the big bars on the outside of the track for a drink . The bartender was the rudest person I have ever seen. Yelling at people that they were taking to long to order and she was closing up because the race was over. It still had at least 20 laps to go. Even if she was closing up , you can be nice about it. I was there for inagural race and woudln't have missed the 20th anniversary race. Have only missed a few races. I love the Auto Club Speedway. I love this sport for it's emphasis on the family and Auto Club Speedway embraces the family.

Always a fun day, that's why I've been coming for 20 years, if I had to complain about something it would be the poorly organized traffic in and out( close the 10 fwy, really?) The racing amazing, I like sitting in the terrace area above pits, don't think I could ever sit in grandstand again even though I pay for my tickets year after year... Want a Hot pass! Got to figure out away to get one.
My 1st time to NASCAR & the Speedway. What a kewl experience and the thunder of the car's engines shaking the bleachers. Need a little craft beer concession stand. Beside I will go back...
