Formerly known as the California Speedway, the Auto Club Speedway hosts some of the biggest car and bike races in the world, including the Superbike 100K, Historic Sports Car Festival, California 100 and Toyota Indy 400. Set up in the year 1997, it also plays venue to the NASCAR races held in this part of the state. The 2-mile (3.2-kilometer) D-shaped track sits below the 36,030-seat upper grandstand and the 42,490-seat lower grandstand. The action moves fast here, so don't wait to cruise in.

We had great seats, the racing was good, love the new 3 stage format, happy to have Monster Energy as our new sponsor. Parking was free, traffic flow was good, people (ushers) were nice...and helpful. Jumbotron could have been bigger and more of them would be nice. Texting for issues was nice, but could not get an answer to my question about wat FM station was covering the race. Loved the digital MPH sign in turn 1, that was cool. Great experience overall! And.....my driver won! Great job #42 Kyle Larson!! �
First time to an actual race and I loved the experience as a whole, just a couple things that could've been better. I sat in section 90 row 40 out of turn 4, awesome seats I saw it all! Except for the, not sure of the name, 'number tower' that displayed the place the racers were in-hard to see the numbers. Maybe they could be brighter or bigger. I miss the second race we use to have. Labor day weekend a night race. Bring it back please.
Been coming for almost a decade now... Recently moved to the Bay Area and was on the fence about making the trip down... So glad I decided to come. Got amazing seats just a week before the race. It's become a family tradition now. 🏁
Love NASCAR and watching the race. But we couldn't here the commentators in our section 62. Also you should invest in more bathrooms, The line was so long for the woman's bathroom and the soap dispensers were broken and couldn't access paper towels to dry our hands! Pretty gross! All the money that's made there, there's no excuse for that! But love the race!
Never been there before so can't say what's normal: free genera parking... sweet. Reasonable GA pricing. Great food options... Some of us cant drink and stuff crap down our throats. Although posted no smoking, people still did... ANNOYING. GRounds were clean... Biggest gripe... My bad for being a first timer... Falling for the traffic signs... In the stands and a guy went down with apparent heart attack , no services for over 15 min ... begging for someone to show up so miss organized . Fans taking turns giving CPR and no facility crews coming. No medical devices in stands. After 15 mins red suits finally came up from the track and showed up and gave equipment for CPR to fans and military giving CPR . Who is running this place ... no medical equipment in the bleachers .
