Formerly known as the California Speedway, the Auto Club Speedway hosts some of the biggest car and bike races in the world, including the Superbike 100K, Historic Sports Car Festival, California 100 and Toyota Indy 400. Set up in the year 1997, it also plays venue to the NASCAR races held in this part of the state. The 2-mile (3.2-kilometer) D-shaped track sits below the 36,030-seat upper grandstand and the 42,490-seat lower grandstand. The action moves fast here, so don't wait to cruise in.

First race ever...Glad we were able to tail gate without any problems.
Great seats, parking flowed, racing was better at the end. Need escalators that go all the way to each level.
Over all everything was awsome. The one thing I would change would be letting us buy a garage tour without having to buy the whole weekend package. I have been a tour guide for many years with the Rotary Club, and this year I wanted to be a tourist. I couldn't be there all weekend. There for not going to pay for days I wouldn't be there. And why did they take away the souvenir haulers. Bring them back. Other then that a GREAT experience
We had a blast at Auto club speedway yesterday...excellent race!! Got to be on pit road when Jr. Ran through the crowd...got some great pictures of the drivers...see you next year!! Oh and the weather was perfect!
Yes bathroom lines long, but only on caution. Food and drinks expensive. But overall it was fantastic. My 3rd time there so I know my way around. My granddaughter first race, she had a blast. I will go back.

Awesome track!!! Several lanes wide!!! Please do not resurface or re-pave!!! Great racing action!!
It gets better every year, they never stop surprising the fans. People need to understand that the place gets packed during NASCAR weekend (mainly Sunday), so they plan ahead. The city's police department create detour when exiting for less traffic, easy freeway access.
