ALP has my child as their client and billing his insurance meanwhile, they sent an email stating they are no longer providing therapy to Atlanta clients. They stated that they’re ending services with Atlanta in May. This is now June; there should be no reason you all are billing the insurance and not seeing him!!! Very unethical. Please get this fixed!!!
If it wasn't for the horribly abusive "treatment" of autistic children that this public equity- funded organization provides, I could overlook their absolutely atrocious billing practices. They just Lovaas and Kanner-inspired behavioral therapy to train kids to be neurotypical. (This is along the same thread as conversion therapy.) I was told to ignore my child's trauma responses to their treatment, after which I showed his "therapists" to the door. Thankfully, we only endured this for a couple of weeks before I turned again... read more
