When I called, they answered all my questions. Then today when I visited, they were super helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and inviting. I was so glad to see such a large variety of high quality cotton thread, including superior master piece and king tut, as well as bottom line. They even gave me 15% off for being a new customer. Customer Service is the absolute best. Need help with coordinating color, again, the best. Need machine repairs/service, antique or otherwise, their technicians are excellent. Need supplies that you can't find anywhere else, look no further, Austin's has it. Want quality fabric, they have that too. Looking for a specialty thread, Austin's has it. Need a class or want to learn something new in the sewing arena, call them. They have classes but more importantly they have great teachers. I will see you there.

I came in over the summer and bought my embroidery machine. I've had so much fun with it. Your staff is knowledgeable and so friendly and always helpful!
I've been looking for a sewing and serger repair center in Louisville and this will not be it! The first stitch I sewed after getting my serger back from service and the needle broke. The lady checking me out wanted to discount the service repair, but the owner demanded the full $50 (just for needle replacement and threading!). Not the place you want for friendly and understanding service.
