RecommendedWOW!!! The food is simply amazing. It’s my 1st time eating here although I have passed by this spot a thousand times because we love Ventura. I will definitely come back, and try the other entree’s on their menu. Denny, our server was also very attentive. It was a sweet experience overall. Thank you Austen’s!
Dined here for Fathers Day and had the Wood Smoke Brisket with Pierpont Steak Chili and Parmesan Truffle Potatoo Chips. The brisket was a complete disappointment. When it was served I first thought they mistakenly served me thick cut pastrami with a sweet sauce on it. It looked like they trimmed off all of the flavorful outside of it and it didn't have any smoke flavor or mush flavor at all. The food is always great! The service at lunch is outstanding! The atmosphere is wonderful! It’s under the radar so it’s never crowded!! One of the best burgers in town!! Please don’t tell anyone!!

took advantage of my husband being way too inebriated and put a bar tab of 549.60. no way did he drink this much liquor. would of been dead. how dare you.

Working at the pierpont inn and having the opportunity to enjoy the delicious meals on my days of schedule and days off is the best place to come and eat and actually enjoy spending it their. My co-workers are amazing. Chef 👩🍳 is awesome.
Still not in the old building. It was my husband's birthday, but the cook overdid his t-bone giving him medium well instead of medium rare. When the replacement steak came is was a terrible cut filled with gristle.
