My daughter fell on her scooter, and after several hours we couldn’t stop the bleeding above her lip because it would reopen whenever she ate or talked. We decided to take her in to be checked out. Aurora is an in-network urgent care facility and our copay is $50. The doctor was great, he was kind, patient, and professional. DO NOT go here for urgent care. As others have stated, they do not bill insurance for urgent care. They count it as an office visit and you have to pay a facility charge and doctor charge separately, on top of any actual care you receive (like a strep test or something). I went in expecting $75 for a visit as my insurance card stated for urgent care. Instead, I got multiple bills totaling over $1,000 and I spent more time waiting in line to check in to urgent care than I did seeing a doctor. Literally saw a doctor for maybe ... read more
3 trips for 3 different patients and 3 times being incorrectly diagnosed. Go elsewhere, this place is terrible.
The reception was rude to my 8yr old daughter when we tried to check in 1 minute before they opened. We had no problem waiting until the clock ticked but was it necessary to be rude to a child? Lack of character.
Doctors were great but billing sucks… $400 for a facility fees on top of my regular doctors fees. I’d rather go back to Ascension where I just pay my copay for my urgent care visit.
