Too much salt I like the Augustine Grill but why do so many chef's use so much salt? If I feel my food isn't salty enough I put salt on it. Isn't that why it's on the table?
Nice patio atmousphere This was a very pleasant experience visiting the Augustine Grill. We went there for a friends birthday party and we sat on the patio. The atmousphere was great. They had a band playing in the background and the lighting was perfect. The wait staff was very friendly. The food is prices comparably and is pretty good too. If I was invited, I would go again and possibly for a special occasion as well.
Small Town Feel, Big Town Gourmet We came to Augustine Grill for a special night. We called ahead and worked with the owner who helped make our dinner so special, she made sure every detail was there, she even made special menus just for our special occasion helping us keep within our budget while still giving our guests wonderful choices. After 21 successful years, Augustine Grill has closed its doors as of December 23rd 2017. Mike and I had an opportunity to retire and allow a new local family to fulfill their dreams and ambitions for a great concept that should lend itself nicely to an ever evolving Castle Rock. We would like to thank all of our past and present employees, guests, friends and supporters for a great run ... we couldn’t have done it without you! Terrible food and service - especially for the price! – After seeing a picture of the restaurant in a local review book, my wife and I decided to give Augustine Grill a try. The experience from beginning to end couldn't have been more of a disappointment. The wine list is a bizarre combination of extremely overpriced bottles considering the quality of what is offered. Best Salmon! We love their Dinners! – My husband and I love to try new restaurants, but we keep coming back to Augustine Grill. We have our favorites there, but once in a while we venture out and try something else, we are never disappointed. The owner always takes the time to visit with her customers (unless they want their alone time).
