About this business

Over the last 21 years, this animal-rehabilitation center has treated and released more than 7,000 birds of prey, including eagles, hawks, vultures and owls. To learn more about these creatures, come by for a visit to Audubon Center for Birds of Prey. Twenty-two species are on view, including the famous bald eagles. The animals here cannot be returned to the wild, mostly because of health reasons. The center also hosts an adopt-a-wild-bird program.

Such a beautiful little place. It's actually located in a neighborhood in Maitland. They have a couple of home like structures. One is where you buy your ticket. After you walk around outside you can go into the house through the back screened in patio. there They give you a book to look at with the names of the birds, they type of bird, facts and the reason why they cannot be released in the wild. There a cages surrounded by trees and there is a beautiful lake there

We are so excited to send a group to do a behind the scenes tour! Thanks for being there to take care of these birds of prey!!!! MANY years ago, my Dad, Jim, and a friend, Dr. Meredith Scott brought in an injured eagle they found when out hunting. It was quite a story getting the eagle from where they were to you but they managed.
