I had cataract surgery for both eyes with Dr. Tai at Athena Eye Care. My experience with her practice was excellent. Dr. Tai is a refractive eye surgeon and took the time to thoroughly discuss the procedure with me and made lens implant recommendations to correct both my near and far vision so I would not need glasses at all. Had right eye cataract removed. Excellent results so decided to go ahead with left eye a week later. The entire experience was so much better than I ever thought possible. Dr Tai was excellent throughout the whole process. Never pushed me for any particular option and always took time to sit and answer all questions that I had, even when things were busy in the office. Can highly recommend Dr Tai.
Dr. Tai is amazing. I say that as a physician myself. Everything from her bedside manner, her skill and her knowledge make her an outstanding clinician. She tells you everything you need to know, and what to expect, leaving you feeling well prepared about what the treatment plan! My highest recommendation!
Dr. Tai is an amazing Ophthalmologist! She is extremely knowledgeable in all facets of eye care and did amazing work in replacing the lenses in my eyes. I almost feel like a new person with the new lenses. I depend on my eyes like all people, and the level of comfort I now have knowing I can see better for my work and hobbies is very special. The best Christmas present!
Dr. Tai cares for our family with a high level of expertise, professionalism and compassion. I recently had lens replacement surgery. Dr. Tai communicated clearly throughout the process and provided excellent follow up care. We are very fortunate to have such a talented and caring surgeon and her staff providing our eye care.
