A Makeover – I have happily gone to Au Courant for 17 years, where Cheryl keeps me "looking good" But recently my husband at age 82, inexplicably decided to grow a beard. It was not a pretty sight. OMG He finally agreed to get professional help at The Den. It was like an Oprah makeover!! Katrina turned him into a well groomed gentleman, he went in looking , in my (OK much younger wife) opinion, like a homeless person, emerged transformed. He was delighted, and wants to go back. The Den is wonderful.
Best haircut and single blade shave ever. – Great experience best place for a guy's get hair cut, shave and watch sports.
Pam is Amazing – Excellent attention as soon as you walk in. Friendly and comfortable but highly professional. This shop rivals the talents in larger cities. I highly recommend it
Friendly service – Au Courant on Mercer Island has very friendly staff with good experience. The salon is small and welcoming. Their Chai Tea is positively delighful as well!

Get a facial with Nichole today!! – I had my very first facial with Nichole. She taught me everything I need to know about how to care for my skin and what to use. I had the most relaxing and amazing time in Au Courant. The tea and hair stylists made me feel comfortable and welcome and I can't wait to go back next month! Thanks Nichole!
Great place! – I went for the first time back in June. The woman who cut my hair was amazing and did a great job. I'm going back today and I'm very excited.
Wonderful staff! – Au Courant was recommended to me by a friend. Pam and the rest of the staff were so much fun. Plus they give newcomers a nice little goodie bag on their first visit. :) I highly recommend them!
