Ordered custom dog bones for a resident pet event in Lafayette, and it was such a pleasant experience! They were SO friendly and went above and beyond! :)
I have never gone to Atwoods Bakery; however, I have a dog that is super spoiled by me! I cook all of her meals, she does not eat dog food and very seldom do we ever find a doggy treat that she will eat. While going through Sonic in Jeanerette, La, my dog was with me and they gave me a dog treat for her. We are just passing through from Oklahoma City to New Orleans. After spending the night in a questionable hotel, we were looking for a good breakfast. We had seen Atwood's while searching for food last night. We got there just after breakfast was over. The staff was wonderful and made recommendations when we asked. The Atwood sandwich was great. RecommendedBreakfast and most bakery items are wonderful here. Bakery items are always fresh, moist, and delicious. However, I would NOT recommend their king cakes. I was in town visiting my parents and people said Atwood’s was the best place to get a King Cake. It was more expensive than the ones I get back home but it it tasted like Atwood’s other bakery items it would be worth it. However it was not. I've raved for years about the all famous Atwood's King cake. This was the first time I've ordered one since leaving Alexandria, LA 10 years ago. My goodness! You all did not disappoint! Thank you!
We ordered a chocolate cake with chocolate icing and fudge icing in between. We got a dry chocolate cake with buttercream icing for $53.00 it was uneatable! We literally threw the whole cake away.
Cannot say enough good things about Atwood’s Brunch! Delicious , consistent and pleasant atmosphere with comfortable setting. Love supporting our local businesses!
Love the breakfast especially Marks grits and don't forget lunch. The service is always excellent and plenty of sweet treats to take home!!!
