Let me start by saying they were very helpful finding a place. We rented a $3800 apartment in Dupont Circle due to a fire and displacement. The first week we moved in the building, the door would not close, but they sent out someone to fix the issue immediately. It was fixed for about 2 days and then it broke again. We notified them and it took about a week to get it fixed again. Then the downstairs unit had a leak in their kitchen. I am a neighbor of Attache's property on 1800 19th St. NW, Washington DC. The exterior of this property is in appalling condition. The back yard is trash strewn, and there are rat and insect infested shacks on the back of the property in close proximity to tenants' doors and windows. Property management has been unresponsive to complaints. I cannot speak to the quality of the interior of the apartments of this property, but I wonder how comfortable tenants would be entering through the rear amongst scurrying rodents.
