I have rented from Atoms Property for three years. Two years at our first house and then we moved into a smaller house the third year. Atoms asked us to write a review since we d been with them for awhile. The other reviews do not fit our experience. The houses were both very nice and in the few cases where something needed fixed, they sent someone out to fix it. We paid our rent each month so we never experienced any late fees: )
Awful landlords trying to scam college students of whatever money they have. The basement in our house had windows that were basically a fire code hazard, but they refused to replace them. We also had a sewage pipe leak in our basement, but they refused to replace the carpet. They say they will get a lot of things fixed-- they don t. Rent is WAY too high for the quality of the house. Also, there were multiple times when they were showing our house that they did not give a prior notice. DO NOT RENT FROM ATOMS PROPERTY.
Atoms did not want to do a walk through before we moved into a house. They wanted to simply extend the previous lease aggreement and change the names. I begged for a new lease and walk through but they kept saying it was easier to do it the other way. Before we moved in, someone decided to live somewhere else so we told Atoms that we would have to change a name on the lease aggreement. They never changed the name on the aggreement. These people are thieves. They not only stole over one thousand dollars from us but they also were very unprofessional. Our hot water ran out over the winter and it took them over a week to fix it after ignoring our calls for days. It is extremely difficult to read their spread sheet and they changed our s a few times. When we wanted to finish paying them for the money they stole we had to stand outside of their office for 20 minutes ringing the doorbell in the snow when they were clearly home. Scam---- Atoms Property Management is the most unprofessional business in Greeley. Their spreadsheets are confusing and don't treat each tennet as an individual. They tack fees onto your rent without any explanation or warning. Once you get involved with these people you've sold you soul to the devil. I haven't lived in one of their houses in eight months and I (not including what my roommates have paid) just spent a thousand dollars on the old rental. Take advice from someone who has been there and don't sign with Atoms.
I would encourage any individual against dealing with Atoms Property Management. We contacted them for a month and heard no reply. Not even withholding rent got them to contact us. This is the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. I urge you not to rent from them and I also urge you to inform them of this review if this is the reason you choose not to rent from Atoms.
I only gave them 1 star because zero stars is not an option. If you make the unfortunate mistake of renting from them pray to god that nothing breaks of needs even the most minor of repairs. The first hurdle you will have to overcome is getting a hold of them, leaving messages will get no response.
