Do not rent through Atlantis. If you must, ensure you document everything. They will lie to you. They will withhold material information. They will try to scam you. I have had to file complaint with BBB multiple times. If you live in a property managed by them, you better be a fan of cannabis smoke. They do not enforce the no smoking policy, so there is a constant odor that gets stronger at random hours. Save your receipts. They will not follow up, they do not communicate well. Very bad experience with Atlantis Properties. 1 applied for an apartment in Belmont on Valerga Street. I paid $45 for my application and another $45 for my wife's application. The agent who showed us the apartment was rude and unprofessional from the beginning. The worst part was the application process. I was the first person to apply, but nobody ever called me with an update. Every few days I had to call them myself. The staff that showed us a rental property was very rude, for no reason, and didn’t seem to be knowledgeable about our questions. For example, he didn’t know or didn’t care answering our question about which internet provider was available for the unit, and didn’t even show us the laundry room.
