I have been extremely pleased with AVVA and Dr. Frank Southern. He's a highly skilled surgeon who is very compassionate as well. Anyone who is in need of a vascular surgeon would do themselves a favor by choosing he and his practice. The entire staff there are professional and courteous as well as compassionate.
After another doctor from North Carolina unsuccessfully tried 3 times to install a dialysis port in my mother's arm Dr. Southern got it on his 1st attempt....Everything healed nicely and he was able to remove the uncomfortable port in her neck, that had been in there about 4 months longer than it should have....I do thank everyone involved in helping keep my mother alive, our family's gratitude to AVVA is immeasurable and we appreciate your hospitable and efficient care!
Had the pleasure of meeting Dr Southern when I took my FIL into his office and spoke with him once again following my FIL surgery.. Amazingly caring and sweet Doctor.
