Dr. Diaz and her whole team are awesome. They answered all my questions, put my concerns about LASIK at ease. Michelle Murray is the best. She checked on me and even dropped off contacts at my house when I couldn’t pick them up at the office, that stuff just doesn’t happen anymore, she is just awesome. Thank you all for being so wonderful and making this as painless experience as possible.
I have been a patient of your for over 20 years. I took my handicapped mother into the office this morning at the Jax beach location and was treated rudely by the lady at the front desk. I understand that Covid limits only patients To The lobby, but my mother had surgery with 16 screws and a steel plate and has only just recently moved from a wheelchair to a walker. Outstanding meticulous eye exam. I noticed in clay shooting I was dropping points shooting with both eyes open as usual. I dropped scores from mid 80’s to low 70’s. I closed the left eye and found I could pick up a missed bird on a second presentation. Something was wrong. Dr. Lancaster found my dominant eye had a rotated axis of 20 degrees from my previous prescription now 3 years old. The correct grinding of the glass will be important . Well done Doc.
I had a consultation with different eye surgery place which said I was a great candidate for LASIK. They scheduled surgery for that Friday. Uncomfortable with the speed at which they rushed me through and the fact that I had not even seen the surgeon after 2 visits I went to Atlantic Eye Institute. Dr Duss immediately told me I had cataracts and would need surgery in 3-5 years and LASIK would be a waste of money. He advised me of my options and what he could do for my vision. Dr. Duss is amazing. I had a small shell stuck in my eye and Dr. Duss was able to remove it without any pain or discomfort. The doctor has steady hands which is what you want from an eye surgeon. Highly recommended!

10 STARS! Dr. Vance is awesome! Due to my diagnosis from my regular eye exam with Dr. Duss in April, I went in today scared to death & came out at ease. YAY!
